Picture it 2016, a Pre-Pandemic World, the Chicago Cubs were in the World Series, Donald Trump had just been elected President of the United States and two semi young adults swiped right on Tinder to end up at Roam Burger in the heart of San Francisco’s Fillmore District.
Marcela
The young girl was skeptical. The new dating app world felt exhausting and ingenuine. She knew she needed to start approaching dating differently if she wanted the outcome to be different. The gentlemen caller had already made a good impression because there was a dog in his profile picture, and he quickly moved their conversation from the dating app to an in person meet up. The first date was going well. The conversation was just as easy in person. He let Marcela do a lot of the talking but made it sincerely clear that he was listening. She could tell right away he was honest, but she couldn’t figure out his intentions…
Justin
Entering his 30’s Justin was enjoying the bachelor life. Justin was still navigating the nuances of dating app culture and wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The night before he was supposed to meet up with his Tinder date, he had a little too much to drink with the boys. He woke up tired and hungover, not wanting to cancel, he rallied to meet Marcela. She was smart, beautiful, and outgoing. He knew right away that he wanted this Tinder date to be different. When they parted ways that night, he gave her an innocent hug and said he was looking forward to seeing her again.
Together
From that night the two continued to learn and grow with each other. With everyday their intentions for each other became more and more clear. Almost 6 years later their love travels to new heights, as they celebrate forever with their closest family and friends.
